To become a Reiki Practitioner, you’ll need to complete Reiki training courses, study the course materials, and receive the necessary energetic Placements. Hands-on practice is equally important for deepening your connection to Reiki energy and improving your skills. After completing Reiki I & II, students are required to wait at for a period of time spanning several months before moving on to advanced Reiki classes, giving you time to integrate the teachings, energy and develop your practice.

Classes are kept small, typically with 2-8 students, ensuring personalized instruction and individual attention. This allows for a more focused and supportive learning experience and the maximum amount of in class practice time.

At Cosmic Care Reiki, we specialize in a system called Holy Fire® III Reiki, taught through The International Center for Reiki Training. Holy Fire® III is a unique combination of the traditional Usui Reiki system and modern advancements in Reiki. It blends purification, healing, empowerment, and spiritual guidance, offering deep, a transformative healing experience.

 

In class, you’ll learn the key Usui symbols, along with the master symbol from Holy Fire® III Reiki, which is also part of our Karuna Reiki® training and learn how to properly scan an energy field, applying healing techniques, and learn about other ways Reiki energy can be used beneficially and proactively with the intentions of serving the highest and greatest good.

Reiki isn’t taught like other healing techniques; it’s passed on from a Reiki Master to the student through a process called an attunement (placement). During the placement, the crown, heart, and palm chakras are opened, establishing a direct connection between the student and the Reiki energy source.

​

Receiving an attunement (placement) is a profound spiritual experience. Once you’re attuned to Reiki, your ability to channel this healing energy remains with you for life—it never fades or diminishes. While only one attunement is required per level, receiving additional attunements can enhance the energy you work with, making it stronger and more refined. They can also help with personal healing, increase mental clarity, heighten intuition, and elevate your overall consciousness.
